Kemer Dance Festival programme

☀️ Goal-Oriented Ballroom Dance Training Camp Under the Mediterranean Sun!

This camp is designed for competing couples in the Adult and Senior categories (open level),
as well as ballroom dancers with a competitive background who train purposefully and
aim to further develop their skills.

Participants are expected to have a solid foundation in Standard and/or Latin ballroom dances and a regular training background.

The festival takes place at the Viking Star Spa Hotel, which serves as the central venue for the event.
Dance classes will be held in air-conditioned studios and evening social dancing will take place in the

hotel's dedicated dance areas.

The camp also offers an excellent opportunity to meet new dance friends from across the Nordic countries.

In October, the Kemer Dance Festival will be 10 years old! There will be a lot of new and a little old things, former and new teachers and reunions of mutual acquaintances from 10 years. Registration is already open and you can reserve your place for the Festival. As usual, dance enthusiasts from Sweden and Norway will also be there, in addition to our Finnish and Turkish friends. You can always come with a partner, even if it is only a nominal couple, but the Festival has a quota for followers, which will be increased as the balance of couples is balanced. So you can also register for the waiting list for couples. The balance of couples is especially important in Argentine tango. A more detailed program for the camp will be updated in late summer, when the teachers from all countries and their arrival times for the festival are known.

The information letter contains the prices of the different options and other important information about Kemer and the event. Remember that you can always join with a partner, we strive for a good balance of partners. Since there is a lot of demand for the festival, at least in terms of followers, we cannot reserve "maybe" places, so confirm your participation at the same time. Festival passport will be invoiced at the beginning of August.

You can now participate in the October Mixed week (Arg-Tango, salsa, swing and stage dances) for 7 or 9 days from 3 to 9 or 3 to 11 October and after that Swing weeks for 11.  to 26. October (swing, west-coast swing and line dances), so the dance offering of 10-years-old Kemer is expanding again! Great teachers and new dance styles are expected.

WELCOME TO CELEBRATE THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE KEMER DANCE FESTIVAL, WITH LOTS OF NEW, A LITTLE OLD, SMALL COMPETITIONS AND THEME DANCE EVENINGS!

Get to learn original Norwegian swing and also West Coast Swing and Fox with Norwegian teachers.
In this period there are also many kind of Linedancing with different music.
You can choose the level of your own in all dances. If you have no partner, we will cahnge partners
during workshops and in the evenings there are also social dancing for everyone.
The language is mostly Norwegian, but also English, if needed.
